How long does it take for support to actually do something?
My account is "block", not banned but blocked for some reason and now its going on 3 days and support still hasnt got back to me yet and i really want to play. Im just wondering how long it takes ncsoft support to actually fix that problem or atleast tell you why you were "blocked", or what ever... really sucks.

I can't really say to be honest. I've never had a problem of being "blocked". But whenever I contacted support, I always got a response within 3 hours. Try replying to your ticket, see if it helps the process.

Three days? It shouldn't take that long... I remember I had a problem buying stuff in the online store, and they resolved it in a couple of hours.

I would imagine that investigating an account block is a lengthier issue than resolving a billing problem or suchlike.
I recently had a potential account theft problem - the amount of sent/received emails made it almost like a real-time conversation.

PlayNC support is horrid, the worst of any game company I have ever seen. They transfer you back and forth to different department. I currently cannot change my passwords via the lackluster PlayNC "Master" account protocol they force upon so many of us. This required me to give them all types of information (I was waiting for them to ask my Mother's uncle's friend's sister's dog's puppy's AKC registered name)
After giving all I could dig up, I have no been forwarded to a "senior" technician. Changing your password is obviously a very serious matter these days, and why in the world would you dare want to rotate a 13 digit alpha numeric password using atmospheric noise randomness to generate half of it? Oh, god forbid...changing your password is such a poor security method.... lol.
PlayNC support = fail. In so many ways.

i, on the other hand, have had a very pleasant experience with the support team. They currently are helping me diagnose a freezing issue and usually reply to my ticket responses in a very timely manner(less than an hr).

Hmm, wonder if the quality of support varys depending on whether you get US or EU support.
Have to agree with the NCSoft Master account nonsense - it's bleedin awful.

I can see why those 2 problems get answered at different speeds.
Teh thign is computer problems are easy to answer for a good techie. they get the information, they diagnose it and they solve it.
Changing account information means they have to search the databases and research into if you are really the one who is allowed to recieve the information. It takes its time to figure oiut exactly what your Mother's uncle's friend's sister's dog's puppy's AKC registered name is.
Im not saying that as an excuse for Anet, as their service is sometimes a bit unorganized concerning some aspects such as Passwords or user related data. They can surely use a drastic streamlining of their support processes.
P.S. If you think Anet has bad service with loads of pre-fabricated and automated messages... Go buy any Steam Game and try their Support

That is absolutely crazy, like if they are too busy or something then i understand but honestly i shouldnt have to wait 10 days to play 4 games that cost me almost 200 bucks and they havnt even told me why i have been blocked. WTF is blocked anyways? it doesnt say banned but it is a code 045 which from I understand is a ban. If anyone wants i can post a pic i suppose.

Let me guess, this is the error you are getting:
If it is, then we both have the same exact problem. I contacted support like you did and they haven't said anything since the 13th, 3 days ago. They haven't even looked at the issue yet, all they do is transfer me all over the place. I tried calling them but that doesn't help either since they won't take calls if you have account issues like ours.

Honestly if that happens i will never ever buy another NCsoft game again. If it takes a while like a week i can deal with that but weeks? Ill just make it well known how bad it was. I just pm regina 10 times a day lol even though she cant do anything about it but maybe go yell at some one to make me go away lol. Guild wars has been super good to me so far so while ive cooled down now and im not pissed I would still like an explanation and for them to fix it, my damn war is reaching his 3rd bday soon lol
